Alright. I have finally recovered from the fantastic week that was Chili Fest 2010. It was a blast, and there are so many memories that I will forever keep from the weekend.
Early Saturday morning, I packed up the car and headed out to College Station with one of my roommates, Meena, and one of my very best friends, Jordan. After a couple of wrong turns, we finally arrived at Ashely's apartment around 10:30am. We quickly ate some Lane's Chicken and headed out to Snook, Texas-10 miles away from Ashley's place-for the concert that started at 11am. The music was great, the people-watching was better, and I couldn't have picked a better day or a better group of people to be there with. I must say that I am hooked, and I am quietly considering entering the competition next year. We've already kind of been buzzing around the idea of a "Team Divided" team that includes an equal partnership between Aggies and Longhorns, which is sure to shake things up at Chili Fest 2011. :)
I fell in love, once again, with Texas Country. Here was the lineup:
