Time to Dust Off This Keyboard...

Yet again, I sit here apologizing for not updating this blog. I've had a pretty lame and boring couple of weeks since Spring Break, but I guarantee you that (if I can find the time) there will be plenty of exciting events to discuss here so be READY! :)

I made it through last week's tough week of 3 exams that were basically back-to-back. I even surfaced alive! Although, I must admit that I am pretty sure I suffered from some kind of exhaustion somewhere in there. However, I don't have a project/test/paper really due for another 3 weeks, so looking back it wasn't so bad, and now I get to have fun! I just got back from Chili Fest in College Station today. I had so much fun! I will probably write an entire blog dedicated to that either tomorrow or Tuesday, so get excited! (However if you are too impatient, feel free to check out my Facebook photo album...there are pictures that halfway tell the story there.)

This week I will be tending to my massive, yet reasonable, to-do list to get the ball rolling on the next 3 weeks of fun/craziness/traveling/etc. Here are the upcoming events on my social and academic calendar:
Wednesday: Brandon Ryder Concert
Thursday: Beer Pong Practice
Friday: Midnight Rodeo to celebrate Shauna's 21st Birthday (Manda, Bonnie, Josh, and John in town)
Saturday: Shauna's birthday dinner and Beer Pong Tournament 2010 :)
Next Weekend: DFW and Ashley&Phillip's Engagement Party (SIDE NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN'T RSVPED YET PLEASE DO ASAP!!!)

And mixed in there are plenty of 21st birthdays scattered about. Okay, who are we kidding-there are no academic moments in any of that :P But I will say that I plan on meeting an advisor this week to go over my schedule for Summer/Fall classes. Please say a special prayer or cross your fingers or do whatever it is that you do, that I make it into the College of Communications this semester. If I don't, I will most likely have to abort this major, and move on to another degree plan. Ho Ho Hum...

I'm trying to find a job as a bartender somewhere in the Austin. Now that I have a car (see post below for more details) I can actually expand my radius of job searching and use my contacts! Wish me luck :)

Well, that's all for today, folks!
XOXO-Heather
