There are few things that taste better than a glass of wine after your first day of work at your new "big girl" job.
Today was my first day at work! I must say, it was a little tedious with all of the orientations, tours, and "first day" paperwork. But I am officially in the system, have an ID, and a parking sticker. This girl is legit.
I wasn't really able to get into my position today since I didn't get to the Seminars department until after lunch, but I can tell you this much-I HAVE AN OFFICE! That's right, this big girl has a big girl office. Tomorrow I get to help everyone else in the department get ready for our Vegas trip by printing badges, packing boxes to fly out to Vegas, etc. I don't really have much to contribute to this seminar other than my (wo)man power, but that's okay by me. I plan on absorbing as much as possible while taking ample notes. I plan on being the "seminar expert" come next week.
